Facts and Figures from Saudi Transtec 2016
Each edition of Saudi Transtec provides a stronger foundation for business development and continues to support investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s Transport and Logistics sector. The 7th edition of Saudi Transtec took place from 5 – 7 December 2016 in Dammam. The event was officially supported by the Ministry of Transport.
In 2016 we had the presence of H.E. Dr. Rumaih Bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, President of the Saudi Railways Organization, officially opened the event on December 5 and led the official tour of the Exhibition meeting with most of the companies.
Saudi Transtec 2016 delivered unprecedented numbers with over 60 exhibiting companies from more than 10 countries including: Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Egypt, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, U.A.E. and U.S.A across more than 3,900 sqm, 17 technical conference sessions with over 3,500 attendees.
These numbers are a slight increase on 2015, but what is even more important than the numbers is the fact that the quality level of the participants was in the words of the exhibitors “much improved over 2015″.
This is proven by the fact that by talking to the exhibitors, 90% indicated that they had achieved their event objectives and several companies shared with us the excellent news that they had finalized excellent contracts during the three days of the show.
After a successful trade show in 2016, SAUDI TRANSTEC is already geared up for the 2017 edition. By attracting a very targeted audience for the participating companies, SAUDI TRANSTEC has once again proved that this is a strong trading platform where increasing your distribution network, strengthening business relationship and sharing industry developments.
